Wow! What an amazing sushi/dining experience. My girlfriend and I were visiting for Labor Day Weekend and SUGARFISH came highly recommended, and rightfully so. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the sushi was absolutely amazing. I did the larger prefixed menu which I never do, but am so happy I did. Everything was perfect. My girlfriend ordered a la carte and was equally pleased with her decision. Sushi could not have been fresher or more delicious. I also liked that the chef tries to keep the experience as traditional as possible with the options (didn’t see a California roll and the basic American nonsense designed for a child’s pallet), and the menu was full of delicious options and specials. If you like REAL sushi then add this to your list of places to try. 100% will be going back next time we are in town. Thank you!

Tried the Don’t Think Just Eat Omakase, all the pieces were pretty good quality with nice warm rice. The ponzu is pretty sour and certain items come covered in it, so if you’re adverse to that flavor, you may want to request a different seasoning. I also was not a fan of the unagi, which was the finale, as it was really powdery. Overall, enjoy the atmosphere and the selection. Next time I will perhaps select the specific pieces I loved like the pink lobster, tuna cuts, and scallop!

Delicious sushi with excellent lunch menu for quick service (basically a set meal with variety of plates). Tip is already included so no need to figure things out when trying to hit and run for lunch. This is quality for good price with atmosphere and not budget orientated sushi option. If you want that hop on over to whole foods and get a sushi box.

It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. It was mid. The ambience of the restaurant is nice but definitely not somewhere I would go or consider for a fancy date. It was mid. The service was okay but right from the beginning we were being rushed through the meal and out the door. No time or effort was taken to explain what was being served. It was more a mad dash to turn tables over. Again, it wasn't bad, not great. It was mid. The sushi itself wasn't bad, it was good. But for the price, I expect more. It was mid. Will not recommend or eat here again.

I took myself to lunch on a Monday and o was pleasantly surprised by both the efficiency and quality of this Sugarfish location. Being downtown, I expected to wait for a seat and for the food to take a bit to arrive but the staff was so quick and attentive. I opted to try the NOWZA TRUST ME so I could sample multiple plates and I was not disappointed. Each bite was fresh and incredibly flavorful. I also appreciated the attention to sustainability and education around fishing practices. I definitely recommend

Excellent experience! The service was super fast and the food was incredibly fresh and delicious. We tried the “Don’t Think. Just Eat. Trust Me” set menu ($59 per person), which felt like a simplified omakase, everything was amazing except for one piece with a type of fish I personally didn’t enjoy. That said, the freshness and overall flavor were top-notch. The staff was extremely friendly, and we couldn’t have asked for better. For two people, without wine, our dinner cost about $150 including all the fees and taxes Highly recommend this spot for an special occasion

I’ve had Sugarfish in Pasadena and it was as pretty good and this spot is just as good or better. I ordered “Don’t think, just eat” option and added about three different dishes that weren’t in my meal option. All the sushi pieces were ever fresh and delicious. The proportions are on point and the flavors are phenomenal. I’d definitely come back here again and try their other menu items. Overall it was we a solid dining experience. Parking is very limited & you’d be lucky to find some on the street or you can get nearby paid parking.
